WELCOME TO THE SKYKOMISH VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE!

Since the 1960’s we have been promoting the scenic beauty of our area.  In the last year we have held many meetings and developed an exciting focus.  We are actively seeking new members. We look forward to being a valuable tool in promoting the economic and cultural vitality of the region.

We encourage you to become a member and want to introduce you to the benefits of membership in the Skykomish Valley Chamber of Commerce (SVCOC).  First let me introduce to you who we are, what area we cover and what our goals are.

Area

SVCOC covers the area along the Highway 2 corridor referred to as the Stevens Pass Greenway.  This includes the towns of Gold Bar, Index, Baring, and Skykomish and the Stevens pass Ski Area and continues to the Lake Wenatchee cutoff. It overlaps King, Snohomish and Chelan counties and covers some of the most beautiful terrain in Washington State.  The Sky Valley includes the Alpine Lakes and Henry M. Jackson Wilderness Areas. The Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and the soon to be Wild Sky Wilderness Area are also located in this beautiful valley. The area provides recreational activities from skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, sightseeing, hang gliding and bird watching along with many social and artistic events.

Mission Statement

The SVCOC is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the area so that its citizens and all areas of the business community shall prosper.  All means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civil, commercial, cultural, environmental and educational interests of the area.
